Day 83: Aimee Shattuck

I am particularly interested in form and portraiture. I find body shape and facial expression to be extremely expressive of the internal. I  combine the realistic with the fantastic; form paired with irrelevant objects in a majestic, surreal way. I am currently working on a series called "Issues", in which I address emotional struggles where the mind goes to a "place" where  reality feels like a surreal world which cannot be distinguished.
