Ann Tracy has split the majority of her life between the disparate climates and geography of her birthplace of more than 10,000 Lakes and an adopted home of the Sonoran Desert. The juxtaposition of these two climates has created a love of water, and an environmental concern about water. Her latest series, 11,842 Lakes, began while the artist was staying at a family cabin in Northern Minnesota. Tracy’s works are watercolor, acrylic and fiber. Her work is currently on exhibit at Triangle L Ranch, in Oracle; and Tohono Chul Park in Tucson. www.anntracyart.com
