Artist Statement:
As a product of a childhood spent partially overseas thanks to the U.S. military, I use photography and printmaking to explore myself, societal norms, group identity, and collective humanity as subjects. Influenced by my passion for skateboarding, I incorporate a DIY spirit and an against-the-grain attitude into both my creative practices and worldview. I parse the world through a lens and sift through the vast visual information available to me to make my opinions known.
